Sun
The Sun represents one of the most ancient and universal symbols of creative energy, the heart of the Cosmos. As a source of warmth, it embodies vitality, passion, and courage; as a source of light, it represents clarity, intellect, and knowledge. Through natural and fragile materials, the work highlighted the delicate yet enduring relationship between human culture and nature. The fragments of broken glass reflected the light, reminding viewers of both fragility and transformation.
Placing this powerful symbol in the central square of Skopje was both a civic and personal gesture—an expression of the qualities a capital city should radiate, but also a dialogue with my own roots and identity. Growing up in this city, I have always felt deeply connected to its rhythms and contradictions. By placing the Sun at its center, I wanted to create not only a public artwork, but also a shared space of reflection where past and present, individual and collective, earth and cosmos converge.
